Eagles Soccer Beats Treutlen

The Eagles soccer teams of Montgomery County High School faced off with McIntosh County Academy on Tuesday of last week in Darien, and then the Lady Eagles were at Treutlen on Thursday. The MCHS girls split their games, and the boys fell in a close game to McIntosh. vs. McIntosh

The Lady Eagles were up first against the Buccaneers. MCHS had the lead in the first half of the game as they scored one goal. But in the second half the Lady Bucs came back with two goals as they picked up the 2-1 win over MCHS.

In the boys contest the Eagles fought hard but came up one goal short. The Bucs took the win, 5-4, over MCHS. vs. Treutlen

MCHS got a win over the Lady Vikings. The Lady Eagles picked up two goals in the first half of the game and added one more in the second half. They kept Treutlen off the board as they took the win, 3-0.

This week MCHS was at Wheeler County on Tuesday after presstime. They will play again on Friday at home against Portal with the first game at 5:00 p.m.
