Monthly Meeting—

The Toombs County Retired Educators Association will meet on Thursday, April 6, at 10:30 a.m., at Grace Community Presbyterian Church in Lyons. The program will include the 20222023 Memorial Service and the Installation of 2023-2025 Officers.

Easter Services—

The Episcopal Church of the Annunciation, 1512 Meadows Lane, Vidalia, will have their Maundy Thursday Service on Thursday, April 6, at 5:30 p.m.

Good Friday services will be held on Friday, April 7, at 12 noon and 6:00 p.m.

Easter Sunday services will be held on Sunday, April 9, at 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., with an Easter Egg Hunt and Reception after the 10:30

service. Everyone is invited to attend.

Better Together Christian Community Church, 202 W. Church St., Mt. Vernon, will have Revival April 10-12, at 7:00 each night. The speaker will be Rev. Arthur Gordon.

Heart of Georgia Altamaha Regional Commission Area Agency on Aging will hold their quarterly Aging Advisory Committee meeting on Tuesday, April 18, at 10:30 a.m., at the Little Ocmulgee State Park in Helena.

First African Missionary Baptist Church, 206 M.L. King, Jr., Ave., Vidalia, will have their annual Spring Revival April 17-19, at 7:30 each night. The speaker will be Rev. Arthur Gordon, Pastor of Jordan Stream Missionary Baptist Church in Macon.
