On May 12, six Vidalia Heritage Academy archers went to Louisville, KY, to compete in the Eastern Nationals Archery Competition.

Coach Stuart Harrell, Josey Harrell (11th grade), Sarah Grace Todd (8th grade), Ivy Hightower (7th grade), Emmie Hightower (5th grade), Gavin Johnson (5th grade) and Annison Hightower (4th grade) all traveled to the Kentucky Exposition Center to compete against thousands of students from all over the US.

Josey Harrell's and Ivy Hightower's scores qualified them for the 2023 NASP Open Championship in Myrtle Beach this June. Archers will come from all over the globe to compete. Josey shot a 282/300 and Ivy shot a 279/300.
