The Vidalia High School Athletic Hall of Fame has landed a new spot online. Vidalia High School Athletic Director Tommy Dalley said the site will house all things related to the Hall of Fame, including bios of all inductees, acceptance speeches, and “much more.”
“This site will be a great source of information for all Vidalia Indian fans,” said Dalley. “In addition to the HOF information, we have a link for each individual sport, which will feature pictures and information about the championships they have won.”
Dalley went on to say that the site will house an “Alumni Database,” which, according to Dalley, can be helpful for those who may want to reach out to classmates for class reunions or get-togethers. “We have a QR code that you can scan and input your information, and then the site will arrange that information by class for easy access.”
The site will also house all yearbooks from the 1950s through the current year. “We are presently in the process of uploading yearbooks to the site, which will be in an easy-to-read format and give our alumni a chance to go back and reminisce and share with family members.”
Performing Arts will also have a link, which will feature One-Act Play and Literary accolades. “We have a rich history of champions in the performing arts,” said Dalley, “and we want to feature them and recognize them as well.”
In addition, the site will house a “Community Page” where fans can see pictures of themselves taken throughout the year, along with a link to see “Big Chief ” honorees.
The site will get continuous updates, with coaches updating sites with pictures and information.
