Vidalia Toombs County Sheriff’s Office Captain Jordan Kight commented on the bust, sharing his gratitude that the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Oconee Drug Task Force, #The-JusticeDept, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Laurens County Sheriff’s Office, and Vidalia Police Department had assisted in the effort.
“Drugs are our leading cause of crime in Toombs County. It is imperative that the Toombs County Sheriff’s Office has and will continue to partner with local, state, and federal law enforcement to combat the illicit drug distribution in our county,” he emphasized.
Those charged will now enter the federal court system, as they wait to issue their official pleas and the scheduling of trials begins.
