Spooktacular
Trail
Kids and their escorts are invited to travel the city’s Spooktacular Trail (see map on page 10A) Thursday, October 29, 5:30-7:00 p.m. The event will offer an evening of safe and fun trick or treating on a one-way trail with streets blocked off for safe passage of participants. The trail starts at Durden Street. Face masks and social distancing are encouraged.

Edgar Allan Poe
Franklinia Playhouse presents “A Night of Edgar Alan Poe” at the Altama Museum of Art & History, 611 Jackson Street, Vidalia, Saturday, October 31, at 7 p.m. Trick or treating at 5 p.m., costume contest registration at 6 p.m. Bring a blanket or chair for the outside event.
