Mr. Standley Shunta Washington of Metter died on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at East Gerogia Regional Hospital in Statesboro.

Mr. Washington was a native of Emanuel County and was a trucker. Survivors include his wife, Christina Washington, Metter; 4 sons, LaQuavis Kelly, Dedric Kelly, Shiloh Washington, and Standley Washington, all of Metter; 1 daughter, Caydence Washington, Metter; 1 sister, Ariah Washington, Lawrenceville; 2 brothers, Sheldon Washington, Savannah, and Avery Washington, Sparks, NV; his father, Standley Washington, Vidalia; and his mother, Annette Benneche, Madison.

A graveside funeral service was held on Saturday, October 24, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., in Mt. Moriah Cemetery in McGregor.
