Boys vs. Jenkins Co.
The Eagles played well, but fell short against the War Eagles of Jenkins in the boys game. MCHS dropped their contest 6850.
Girls vs. ECI
It was a close game for the Lady Eagles against the Lady Bulldogs of ECI on Friday night at home. ECI gave them a run, but MCHS came away with the win, 52-46.
Boys vs. ECI
The Eagles got their only win of the week against ECI on Friday as they defeated the Bulldogs. MCHS was on top 10-5 at the end of the first period, and they extended that lead in the second quarter of the game to 29-20.
In the second half MCHS had to hold on to come out on top. They were even in the third quarter with the Eagles holding a 40-31 lead heading to the fourth. ECI went on a run in the fourth, but MCHS pulled out the win, 47-44.
The Eagles were led by Jakobe Mobley with 21 points, and Jaquez Kelly scored 11 in the win. vs. Turner Co.
It was another tough test for the Lady Eagles on Saturday in Ashburn at Turner County against the Lady Titans.
MCHS pulled out the close win, 61-56, over Turner to stay undefeated on the season.
The boys fell to the Titans in a close game. Turner took the win over MCHS, 58-50.
This week the Eagles were at Portal to play the Panthers on Tuesday after presstime. They will be back in action on Saturday as they host the Buccaneers of McIntosh County Academy at 3:30 p.m.
