Trippe Falls In Title Game

The J.R. Trippe Middle School Chiefs football team played in the Middle Georgia Middle School Association Championship last Thursday night at Buck Cravey Field. Trippe came into the game undefeated on the season and they took on the Tigers of Swainsboro for the title. It was a rematch of last season's Championship Game in which Swainsboro won by just two points.

When these two teams played earlier in the season, it was all Chiefs as they rolled to a 36-6 victory, but things went differently on Thursday. On this night it was Swainsboro that came out on top as they won the game, and the title, by the score of 30-20.
