The Vidalia Heritage Academy Eagle Band will return to the old-school style of “pep bands,” as they get crowds excited for action on Friday nights.

According to Band Director Zachary Fletcher, the band has made large strides of improvement since his first coming to VHA last year, which keeps him excited and motivate for the upcoming season. “I had several new students make great progress last year, and I am excited to see how they will apply what they learned this fall,” he remarked.

Fletcher, who is assisted by Assistant Director Ben Mosley and Woodwind Instructor Anna Cuevas, said that audiences can expect to hear a variety of well-known stand tunes, including excerpts from “Mars” and “Light Cavalry Overture.”

“We had a great time supporting our football team as they brought home the state championship title last season, and we hope to do the same again this year,” he concluded.
