Citizens Invited to Celebrate Longtime Probate Judge

Citizens are invited to come celebrate the retirement of longtime Montgomery County Probate Judge Rubie Nell Sanders from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 24, at the Montgomery County Courthouse.

Judge Sanders first began working in the Montgomery County Probate Court in 1980 as the late Judge Gary Braddy’s clerk before officially being elected Probate Judge in 2000. Earlier this year, Sanders made the decision to retire after her current term, which ends on December 31, 2024. All members of the public are welcome to attend the drop-in celebration, which will honor Sanders’ many years of service. For more information, call (912) 326-7331.
