Early Voting

Advanced Voting has begun in Montgomery, Toombs, Treutlen, and Wheeler Counties. Voting is open daily, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at each designated location, and on Saturday, October 26, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. To find out your county’s early voting location, please contact your county’s Board of Elections.

Pickup

Toombs, Montgomery, and Wheeler County residents may place their storm debris in piles next to the right-of-way to be picked up by an outside contractor.

“Pink Out”

Memorial Health Meadows Hospital will offer information about breast cancer awareness and treatment, mammogram registrations, goodies, a raffle, and refreshments at their “Pink Out” event in the hospital lobby on Thursday, October 24. The event is open to the public and will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.

Flu Shots

The Toombs County Health Department will provide flu shots at a drive-through clinic on Thursday, October 24, 8 a.m.-3 p.m., at the clinic at 714 NW Broad Street, Lyons. For more information, call 1-855473-4374.
