Better Together Community Church Hosts Local Toy Drive

Better Together Community Church of Mount Vernon is hosting a community toy drive to make sure that children throughout the area receive a Christmas present.

Donations of new, wrapped toys are currently being accepted until December 30. These toys should be labeled with what age or gender the gift may best suit. These presents may be dropped off at the Compassionate Care Center, located at 305 S. Richardson St. in Mount Vernon, from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Monday through Friday.

The toys will be distributed to children of the community on December 21.
