Tough Week For MCHS Eagles

The Montgomery County High School Eagles basketball team faced off with Wilkinson County, Metter, and Dooly County last week. The Lady Eagles picked up a win over Wilkinson, but that was the only win for MCHS on the week.

The Eagles were in Irwinton on Tuesday to take on the Warriors of Wilkinson. The Lady Eagles got the win over the Lady Warriors, 45-39. The boys dropped their game, 61-46 vs. Metter

Against the Lady Tigers of Metter, the Lady Eagles could not keep up and fell 64-37.

The boys also lost their game to the Tigers, 64-52. vs. Dooly

In the matchup with Dooly, the Lady Bobcats rolled to a win over MCHS, 66-19. In the boys game, Dooly won a close one, 53-50, over the Eagles.

This week MCHS will be at Johnson County on Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
