Lyons Lions Club Supports Students Through “Mistletoe On Main”

The Lyons Lions Club lives up to its 'We Serve' mission by actively participating in the community. One of the recent volunteer efforts was to assist with 'Mistletoe on Main,' a Christmas Market organized by the Toombs County Schools Special Education Department. This market allows students with disabilities in grades Pre-K through 12th to create, bake, and assemble items for the market and gives students skills to prepare them for life after high school.

The funds raised by 'Mistletoe on Main' go on to allow students to enjoy activities and field trips. The Lyons Lions Club attended the market and set up a booth. On Monday, February 10, 2025, the Lyons Lions Club donated the proceeds earned from 'Mistletoe on Main” back to the program.
