In her new role, Belcher will oversee the museum’s strategic vision, curatorial direction, and public programming, as well as leading initiatives to strengthen community partnerships and increase visitor engagement. As the museum continues to grow and evolve, she will play a crucial role in shaping the Altama’s future and ensuring it remains a vibrant space for education and inspiration.

Since their founding, the Altama Museum of Art and History and the Historic 1911 Brazell House have been vital to Vidalia’s cultural landscape.
