The Vidalia Onion Festival will kick off on Tuesday, April 22, as the festival hosts the annual Local Entertainment and Movie Under the Stars at Ronnie A. Dixon City Park.

The night will kick off at 5 p.m., as vendors within the park begin to sell food. The local entertainment will start at 6 p.m., as Patricia’s Twirling Stars, J.D. Dickerson Pom-Pom Dancers, Love 2 Dance, and Sassy Sisters Dance Studio all take the stage.

At 8:15 p.m., the movie Luca will begin being shown. Released in 2021, Luca is a coming-of-age cartoon about a young boy who shares an unforgettable summer in the Italian Riviera with a friend. Filled with adventure, humor, and the power of friendship, Luca is a film that audiences of all ages will enjoy.
