Wheeler County Grand Jury Returns 30 Indictments
The January term of the Wheeler County Grand Jury returned 30 true bills of indictment for cases that will be referred to Superior Court for resolution. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The indictments are listed in chronological order: Makel Robinson of Lumber City, and Denaje Isisah Woodard of Hazlehurst, were indicted individually and as parties in a crime, on one count of theft by taking in an incident occurring between July 22 and 23, 2023. The defendants were also indicted in a second case with one count of burglary in the first degree and one count of theft by taking for an offense occurring September 27, 2023.
Jarvis Jermaine Bry ant of Glenwood was indicted on one count of possession of methamphetamine, one count of possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, four counts of crossing a guard line with contraband, and illegal use of a communication facility, in an incident occurring on December 3, 2023, at the Wheeler County Jail.
Steven Eric Tootle of Milan was indicted on one count of shoplifting for an offense that occurred on April 24, 2024, at a Wheeler County business.
Jesse Boyd of Glen wood was indicted on six counts of child molestation for alleged offenses that occurred between January 2021 and July 2024.
Stanley Darell King of Alamo was indicted on one count of terroristic threats and one count of simple battery in an incident on June 3, 2024.
Dustin Shane Purvis of Alamo was indicted on two counts of aggravated assault, one count of simple battery, and two counts of cruelty to children in the third degree in an incident occurring June 22, 2024.
Kevin Dewayne Mc Daniel of Hazlehurst was indicted on one court of possession of a Schedule I controlled substance for an offense on June 23, 2024.
Raheem Yusell Kirk land of Savannah was indicted on five counts of obstruction of an officer in an incident on July 27, 2024, involving officers of the Wheeler County Sheriff’s Office.
Ali Asghar Fadavi of Grayson was indicted on seven counts of furnishing prohibited items to inmates and one count of possession of marijuana (less than an ounce) in an incident on June 21, 2024, at the Wheeler Correctional Facility.
Jimmy Cole Yawn of Alamo was indicted on one count of aggravated stalking in an incident occurring on July 24, 2024.
Ashley SimomeGe of Dublin, a public officer at the Wheeler County Correctional Facility, was indicted on one count of violation of oath by a public officer and two counts of furnishing prohibited items to inmates in an incident at the Correctional Facility on July 21, 2024.
Stanley Darell King of Alamo was indicted on one count of terroristic threats (felony) in an event on July 28, 2024.
Dantrell Ages of At lanta, Derrin Lamon Mabry of Columbus, and Kendrick Anthony Thomas of Columbus were indicted individually and as parties concerned in the commission of a crime on two counts of furnishing prohibited items to inmates at the Wheeler County Correctional Facility on July 17, 2024.
Eddie Mathis of Alamo was indicted on one count of possession of marijuana (more than one ounce), possession of a Schedule II controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine, three counts of possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, driving under the influence (drugs), reckless driving, and failure to maintain lane in an incident on August 12, 2024.
Latrice Chantel Clark of Alamo was indicted on one count of cruelty to children in the second degree, one count of cruelty to children in the third degree, and one count of battery (family violence) in an incident on August 14, 2024.
Haley Marie Tedders of Cochran and John Edward Williams of McRae-Helena were indicted individually and as parties concerned in the commission of a crime with one count of possession of methamphetamine and one count of possession of marijuana (less than one ounce), in an incident on August 12, 2024. In a separate case, Williams was indicted on one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in an incident on August 12, 2024.
Cedric Moore of Al amo was indicted on two counts of aggravated stalking for incidents occurring between August 10 and 11, and August 13, 2024.
Shelby Denise Faulkner of Alamo was indicted on one count of possession of methamphetamine, one count of driving under the influence (drugs), one count of possession of drug-related objects, and one count of taillight violation in an incident on September 10, 2024.
Dustin Finch of Al amo was indicted on one count of aggravated stalking, for an incident on September 15, 2024.
Kaitlyn Nicole John son of Glenwood was indicted on one count of terroristic threats, one count of criminal damage to property in the second degree, and one count of simple battery, in incidents on October 2 and 3, 2024.
Tina Deloris Connell of Glenwood was indicted on one count of possession of methamphetamine and one count of possession of drug-related objects in an incident on October 10, 2024.
Dawan Felton Troupe of McRae-Helena was indicted on one count of aggravated assault and one count of terroristic threats, for an incident on October 13, 2024.
Kacey Phillip Emer son of Glenwood was indicted on three counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and driving without a license in an incident on October 19, 2024.
Eboni Stewart of East Dublin, a public officer at the Wheeler Correctional Facility, was indicted on one count of violation of oath by a public officer and one count of furnishing prohibited items to inmates for an incident on November 12, 2024, at the Correctional Facility.
Kacey Phillip Em erson of Glenwood and Mathew James Francis of Glenwood were indicted individually and as parties concerned in the commission of a crime on two counts of theft by receiving stolen property in an incident between November 14 and 15, 2024.
Donnovan Jamal Hick of McRae-Helena was indicted on one count of obstruction and one count of battery involving a Wheeler Correctional Facility officer on November 21, 2024.
Andrew Walker White of McRae-Helena was indicted on one count of possession of methamphetamine and one count of possession of drug-related objects in an incident on November 23, 2024.
Alan Wayne Bragg of Alamo was indicted on one count of aggravated assault stemming from an incident on December 5, 2024.
