the lead, 4-1 in the bottom of the third, the Indians answered with a big rally in the top of the fourth, scoring five runs on six hits to take the lead, 6-4. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Cayden Nance that drove in two.

Dawson Stewart earned the win for Vidalia. The hurler surrendered five hits and four runs (one earned) over five and one-third innings, striking out five and walking one. Henry Adams collected the save. Veer Patel and Nance were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for the Indians. Patel added three stolen bases. Eion Ryals, Jackson Berry, Ian Moye, and Jake McCaw each had a hit and scored a run vs. Jeff Davis

Timely hitting, solid defense, and great pitching helped the Vidalia Indians capture a 4-2 victory over top ranked Jeff Davis on Friday. Ian Moye, Jackson Berry, and Jake McCaw combined for four of the team’s six hits in the victory.

Vidalia Indians got on the board in the first inning after Clay Mimbs homered to left field, scoring two runs.

Jeff Davis tied the game up in the top of the second thanks to a single by Malachi Smith.

In the bottom of the third inning, an attempted pick-off led to a series of errant throws, allowing Eion Ryals to score all the way from 1st Base, giving the Indians a 3-2 lead.

Vidalia added to the lead in the bottom of the 6th. After the first two batters of the the inning were retired, Jake Mc-Caw tripled on a line drive to left field. Ian Moye followed with a single to extend the lead to 4-2.

Veer Patel earned the win for the Indians. The starter allowed seven hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out four and walking one.

Vidalia hosted Savannah Country Day on Tuesday for a double header after presstime. They will play the third game of their three-game Region series on Thursday in Savannah at 5:00 p. m.
