Ms. Shirley Jean Tapley ….
Ms. Shirley Jean Tapley Beasley was born in Montgomery County and later moved to Vidalia where she lived and died. She attended Kibbee High School and later went on to work at Hazlehurst Manufacturing Company for 20 years. She then went to Captain’s Corner, Seawinder and finished her career at Pineland Mental Health Facility, where she retired. She was preceded in death by her parents, Blount and Ethel Tapley; her former spouse, John Morgan Beasley, Sr.; and 1 brother, M.C. Tapley. Survivors include 4 sisters, Elizabeth Warnock (Larry), Christine Wilkes (Jerry), Jerry Whitaker, and June Mosley; and 2 brothers, B.T. Tapley (Ellen) and Gene Tapley (Betty); 2 children, Connie Jean Beasley Jackson and husband Lucky Jackson of Milledgeville, and John Morgan Beasley, Jr., and Toni Corbin of Vidalia; 4 grandchildren, Christopher Ryan Jackson of Milledgeville, John Tyler Jackson of Adairsville, Natalie Morgan Beasley White and husband Eric of Mt. Vernon and Amy Mosley and husband Brian of Vidalia; and 7 great-grandchildren, Ivey Mariah Jackson of Milledgeville, Eric Ricky White, Jr., Jadyn Riley Morgan White, Scarlett Annabelle White, and Oakley Ara White of Mt. Vernon, Bryson Mosley and Brayden Mosley of Vidalia.
A graveside funeral service was held on Friday, January 15, 2021, at 3:00 p.m., in Pinecrest Cemetery, with Joe Siman officiating.
